WHY WE STOPPED YOUTUBE | WHERE THE F*&K DID WE GO? PART 1

It’s been a while Youtube. This is why we decided to stop posting on Youtube.
For those of you that missed us, becoming a Patron enables us to ensure the continuity of Slim & Soph – Sailing Nakama. We’ve gotta cover the bills somehow and this influenced our decision to take a break from editing in order to finance the repairs. A little goes a long way to keep this production alive. With very little free time between uni and the boat, Patreon enables us to focus on creating and posting videos rather than pouring beers at our local. Thank you for your generosity https://www.patreon.com/sailingnakama

With things seeming to break on the boat quicker than we can keep up, a pile load of study and part-time work on top of this, we made the hard decision to stop posting to Youtube. After losing all our water-holding capabilities we saw no other way if we wanted to get sailing this year, which, sailing is what it’s all about for us so yes, it’s been a while Youtube but damn it feels good to be back. However, during this time we have been busy repairing and making upgrades to the boat and of course, we have filmed it all, so welcome to our mini-series ‘Where the F*&k Did We Go?’, where we bring you all that you have missed through this time. In part 1, we fix our water leak, make more electrical upgrades and start prepping for the remote sailing season ahead of us.
