Sailing AUSTRALIA to JAPAN with my MUM!
April 05, 2024 by Slim & Soph - Sailing Nakama | Language: EN Play Time: 00:22:31 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

We will be the first-ever mother & daughter sailing team to compete in the Melbourne to Osaka Double-Handed Yacht race! With this massive offshore sailing event, that will see us sailing 5,500 nautical miles non-stop from the southern to the northern hemisphere, we will need to train and prepare ourselves. And we have picked just the races for that! The Sydney to Noumea and the famous Rolex Sydney to Hobart yacht race. But before we head to the start line of the Sydney to Noumea we must complete an offshore qualifier. Despite sailing thousands and thousands of miles together, this is the first time we have sailed with just the two of us.
However, it is about more than just a few ocean races…Check out the website we have created to learn more about this endeavour https://www.inheroceanwake.com/
