We were surprised to see the coral still churned up by Cyclone Debbie back in 2017, BUT we did see some huge Parrotfish hard at work, nibbling away at the coral. We have made some new friends and have arranged to T-up with them and take their small but quick speed boat for a spin in search of a very large Maori Wrasse who goes by the name of George. To our surprise, there wasn’t JUST George or George junior but hundreds of fish that within minutes are at the back of your boat saying G’day and taking your finest loaf of bread out of your hands. From Yellowtail Fusiliers to a tonne of Batfish and to our amazement, Giant Trevally. We were two kids in the candy shop and couldn’t believe we were swimming with such amazing fish.
