After a night anchored by the Statue of Liberty we move the boat to an anchorage in Coney Island Creek with better access to shore. We explore New York City for a day and then head back out to sea. The wind is either non existent or against us for this entire passage. The seas gets rough. After thirty hours of beating to windward, we finally find refuge in Montauk. We row ashore for some much needed R&R and then its back to boat projects.
