I know I’ve made you all wait far too long for this video!
Yes, I skipped an episode. It was the only way I could see around the stalemate I had blocked myself into. I’d try to work on 22 and every time I’d get started all the crazy feelings surrounding the tale end of the winter and the place Garrett and I were at came flooding in and I’d have to walk away. I want to get back to it one day, maybe when we’re floating some place tropical, because the cabin ceiling and beams came out beautifully and glassing the decks went smoothly. I hope you can understand.
This was a really big day for us. If you can tell by how stoked Garrett was just to run in circles on the deck when we were done. Hoffa and I had to distract him with beer just to get him to sit down.

Hello World Salt & Tar is a husband and wife duo determined to build a 35 foot custom George Buehler designed wooden gaff ketch sailboat; documenting their undertaking. Now, 5 years into the project, Garrett and Ruth have transported the boat to the San Francisco Bay Area. It began up a hill in Washington state. Equipped only with a 5000W generator, a few power tools, and resolution Rediviva has grown from a stack of lumber to a boat.
