David is so wonderful for doing this project for us. It lets in so much light and air and it’s basically done… Sorry for the wind noise in this one my mic broke but the show must go on. Our buddy Hoffa was here to help or distract Garrett I’m not sure which but we had a good time tackling the first steps of installing the butterfly hatch!

Hello World Salt & Tar is a husband and wife duo determined to build a 35 foot custom George Buehler designed wooden gaff ketch sailboat; documenting their undertaking. Now, 5 years into the project, Garrett and Ruth have transported the boat to the San Francisco Bay Area. It began up a hill in Washington state. Equipped only with a 5000W generator, a few power tools, and resolution Rediviva has grown from a stack of lumber to a boat. Continuing the project in the Napa Valley Marina with better access to civilization and the ocean!
