Salt & Tar: Ep.140- Rounding a Corner

Ruth gets behind the power tools. Thanks to Noé, our volunteer, he can take the time to learn me a thing or two. So much of the build has been REALLY important that I’ve not wanted to “mess” it up and Garrett’s been so busy I haven’t asked him to teach me. I feel like I’m at a place where I can start to stretch myself and take on more responsibilities. This project has been such an undertaking and I want to help share the load. Garrett works on his own during this filming. Not every project is “camera worthy.” Sometimes it’s us just figuring it out or problem solving and seeing if we can do it ourselves. I got to experience that satisfaction over the next couple weeks. I think I’ve unlocked just the beginning of what I’m capable. Imagine both Garrett and I building!!! I’ve been inspired by all of our volunteers. Coming from all walks of life. If they can do it why can’t I? Might as well try. Maybe I’ll surprise myself 🙂
