Leaky Water Tank Repair on Sailing Zephyr – A Journey of Fixes
After four attempts and numerous fixes over three years, James and Natalie from Sailing Zephyr tackle the problem head-on by using ‘Glex’ epoxy to repair their water tank. Despite previous plastic welding and adhesives, they trust Glex to provide a strong bond between the material used as support and the water tank.Water Key Birthday Adventure
Despite a gloomy weather forecast, Natalie’s birthday coincided with their plans to explore Water Key for the first time. They anchor at 11-to-1 scope, discovering unspoiled beauty while being the only ones on the secluded island paradise.James’ Birthday Tradition
To celebrate Natalie’s birthday, James prepared her favorite breakfast dish – eggs Benny with smoked salmon. Following his tradition of treating Natalie on her special day in the Bahamas where smoked salmon is pricey at $13 for two slices, the couple enjoys quality time together before returning to Sailing Zephyr. In this week’s video, we tackle the persistent problem of our leaking water tank one final time! 😱 We’ve tried fixing it before without success, but this time we’re using a solution recommended by sailors. Will this be the ultimate fix we need, especially now that our water maker is broken and we can’t produce water through reverse osmosis?
Watch to find out if we finally conquer this challenge and join us as we celebrate Nats’ birthday in a beautiful, secluded island paradise. 🏝️
