In our final hours in the Bahamas, we embark on an unforgettable crossing of the Grand Bahama Bank under perfect conditions. As we depart West End, excitement builds for our next chapter in the USA, where we hope to call home for a while. However, our mission to head north is met with a relentless northeaster, throwing our plans off course.
James' parents fly in for a surprise visit in North Carolina, but we’re not there yet! Desperate to meet them, we make some risky decisions, braving the Atlantic against strong winds and swell. After making no progress, we decide to retreat and take a different route through the ICW. In a last-minute decision, we leave Zephyr on a mooring and rent a car to surprise his parents. A brief escape to land life never felt so good!
But the journey isn’t over. We return to Zephyr, determined to get her north before any big hurricanes arrive. Join us for this action-packed episode full of challenges, surprises, and the pursuit of adventure!
