New Crew Joins Zephyr! This is an exciting episode with two Spanish brothers joining us aboard Zephyr. Hopefully they stay with us and cross the Atlantic with us! We love having crew that is as excited as us to sail…and these brothers fit the bill all too well. Guille (youngest one in the family) is a sail instructor in his home town of Cartagena, Murcia. He teaches kids and adults and during the off season he’s off to the mountains to teach some snowboarding. Goni (older brother) is a rad kite surf instructor as well as a snowboarder and surfer. We can’t wait for him to introduce us to some kite surfing and what better way than straight off the back of Zephyr!
We leave good old Mar Menor behind and start our journey towards Gibraltar. We stop at a couple places on the way and the lads soon learn what a boat ‘shower’ really means!
