Power on Zephyr has been a critical issue since the day we bought the boat. Buying cheap lead acid batteries to just get by, cooking in the dark to save power and always having to run the engine to make more power.
Now we finally take the plunge and lash out on the best Lithium Batteries on the market…Dakota LiFeP04 12V 277Ah Lithium batteries. We put 3 of these monsters in our boat for a grand total of 831Ah of pure lithium power.
The best part is the these batteries are the same footprint as our cat31 AGM´s. Incredible dense, powerful and built for the harshest of environments.
