1st YACHT RACE OF THE YEAR SINGLE HANDED
So now that Sea Horse is back in the water we can start using her again, and this week its the first race in the Medway YC racing season.
Now racing may not be for everyone but it provides a great excuse to go for a sail. Take today for example, a cruising sailor would probably just start their engine or maybe even stay at home, but as a racer I had a great time.
I didnt do that well in the results but that wasn’t all my fault, and this race wasnt about winning, it wasnt even about taking part… it was all about just going for a sail.
