It’s not always easy… but this is what makes it worth it.
After leaving Kendwa, we make our way down to Stone Town in Zanzibar — trading quiet anchorages for busy streets, markets, and the reality of life behind the scenes. From provisioning and paperwork to tackling a watermaker issue, this is the part of the journey that keeps everything moving.
But just a short distance away, we stumble across something special…
Pange Island sandbank — an unexpected kiting and wingfoiling spot that quickly becomes a favourite.
In this episode, we share the balance that makes this life work — the effort it takes to keep things running, and the moments that remind us why we do it. From the chaos of Stone Town to the freedom of life on the water, this is what life between the highlights really looks like.
