In this episode we make it to ‘the other side of the world’ and finally get to see the boat for the first time. We begin the long and drawn out process of making the boat our own. We need to get insurance sorted, pay the final amount and get the vessel Australian registered. All the paperwork hoops taking far longer than we had anticipated and we end up bouncing around condos and casitas until we close on the vessel and can move aboard.
It was a very frustrating time. We had to be patient and pass the time in a positive way all the while knowing there was a handful of boat projects we would rather be tackling. More on those in the next episode.
