In June of 2016 I crewed on a Yacht delivery from Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the Outer Banks, North Carolina by way of Bermuda due to a storm that was bearing down on us. The Yacht was a 45′ Dufour Sloop; S/V Cunning Plan.
Follow along our adventure from Puerto Del Rey Marina to Saint George’s Bermuda and on to the Oregon Inlet and the Outerbanks, North Carolina. From Squalls to engine failure to a scrambled auto pilot we came across a have sunken dismasted sailing vessel dodged reefs in Bermuda and lost our rudder in the Oregon Inlet.
