For my passage from the North to the South Islands of New Zealand, I had the chance to test out one of Hest’s Camping Mattress’ in my passage berth. Before this 400NM passage, I had completed 5 ocean passages with cheap mattress foam toppers and my back always killed me after a few days.
I had seen these Hest Mattress rolls online and reached out to them to see if they would like to work together and they sent me two rolls and two pillows.
This mattress roll from Hest was actually more comfortable than even my V-Berth! It was like sleeping on a cloud!!! This Hest mattress roll is an absolute game changer for ocean sailing and even for just laying on the foredeck and looking at the stars.
