Sailing Into Horta! – This Is THE END of Our 2600 Mile Ocean Crossing [Ep. 52]

We are guided in by DOLPHINS under SPINNAKER in the final episode of our 10 part 2600 mile trans-atlantic OCEAN CROSSING. We left in our sailboat from St. Maarten 17 days ago on a doublehanded sail to Horta, Azores.

Are we still friends at the end? Did we make it? What is broken? Did we enjoy our time at sea? Do we get visited by the port police? Did we see any pirates? Will be we locked down or in quarantine?

Find out this and more in this relaxing video of our final days at sea.

So who is this crazy sailing couple that sails upwind across the Atlantic Ocean?

We are trying to sail around the world, West About, via Cape Horn and the Cape of Good hope.

This isn’t a Captain Ron movie, it’s the real deal. If it’s gonna happen, it will happen out there! Join us as we keep on trucking across the Atlantic, from St. Maarten to the Azores in this leg of our around the world circumnavigation.

Unlike some of the other new sailing channels, we are not just some Instagram models or sexy girls in bathing suits that don’t know how to sail. We are experienced racing sailors that know how to get the best performance out of a boat, navigate in extreme conditions, and have lots of fun! So, we hope we don’t have too many boat fails and keep it all about a beautiful sailboat sailing at her best!

Like you, before we left we also watched the inspiring videos of s/v Delos, Sailing La Vagabonde, Project Atticus, and Gone with the Wynns to name a few. We have to take a moment to thank those that have gone before, and we hope that we can inspire you like we were. We learned a lot about living off the grid in a tiny hope from their and other YouTube videos. We are happy you are watching ours.

So, grab your coffee and sail across the ocean along with us as we conquer our biggest fear, the unknown of what lies ahead in our voyage. Welcome aboard!

Oh, and if you have a catamaran, we still love you! We will go upwind on our boat, and have drinks in the anchorage on yours 🙂
