What wizardry allows us to construct a curvaceous, mad max-esque aluminum catamaran using perfectly flat plates? Join us for a deep dive into the dark art of bending aluminum, one of the coolest and trickiest parts of the build. We bust out the English Wheel, a highly specialized machine that I’ll be getting to know EXTREMELY well, since we have 28 plates to form and it takes about an hour and a half to do each one. We’ve got our work cut out for us in this one, so lets dive in!
