We’re about to visit the most expensive place in the entire world we’ve ever been charged to drop our hook. Normally anchoring is free, or a few dollars at most. But we’re heard of a super remote and well preserved island in Panama that charges ridiculous fees of hundreds of dollars per night- just to drop the hook. It is worth it to pay this much? Will we regret our decision to spend a few days at Isla Coiba exploring and scuba diving?
