The labor of love (and SWEAT…soooo much sweat 😂) continues as we race the clock to get Delos back in ship shape. We’re ticking items off the to-do list left right and center, but still we’ve got a ways to go before we will be ready to splash. We tackle some pretty interesting jobs in this week’s episode like replacing our exhaust hose, servicing the bow thruster, more work on the bottom, rebuilding some manifolds in the engine room…and it’s been really cool to start to see some of Delos’ systems from a new perspective after working on the build and reimagining some of them. The cool thing is that we actually really love a lot of things about Delos 1 and have used a lot of it as inspiration that we want to carry forward on the new boat, but it’s also exciting to see some of the stuff that I think we have improved upon, and it gives me something to really look forward to on Delos 2.0!
