We’ve got a really cool episode for you this week as we explore the topic of what the design process ACTUALLY looks like…What are all the steps/questions/considerations to go from a design on paper, to an actual boat that’s light, strong, safe, comfortable, and performs well??? That’s one of the coolest parts about building a custom boat like this…this exact boat has NEVER been built before, so there’s no IKEA instructions telling us exactly what to do, with what materials, and how to do it. It’s both freeing (we can literally do whatever we want!) and challenging (how the heck do we “correctly” approach the thousands upon thousands of little decisions that will collectively shape this boat into her final form?). So yeah, there’s a lot to unpack there, and we invite you to come along for the ride with us as we attempt to answer our latest batch of questions!
