We’re BEYOND stoked to share part 1 of our first passage back on Delos with you! After nearly a year as land lubbers, it’s no surprise that things were a bit of an adjustment. We had a slow start with a mixed bag of conditions and some sea sickness, but it felt great to be back out on the open ocean and slow things down after all the craziness of the build and bringing Delos back to life in the yard. The first part of the passage is always a unique feeling…like everything is such a scramble to get ready and make all the preparations, and then all of sudden there’s nothing but you and the endless ocean all around you, with nothing to do but keep watch, eat, sleep, (entertain Sierra 🤪) and stare off into the distance. But luckily we had a few days of pretty mellow conditions to get back into the swing of things, because in next week’s episode things get a bit hectic with sustained 30 knots and 4-5 meter swell!
