We shouldn’t have left when we did… but we sailed anyway.
In this episode of Sailing Sunday, we sail to the Bahamas on a 3-day ocean passage after rushing across the USA to get back to our boat. With almost no sleep, we left the dock and crossed toward the Bahamas, dealing with rough seas, bad timing and a weather window that didn’t go to plan.
This turned into one of the most exhausting short passages we’ve had. We missed our weather window, spent days smashing straight into wind and waves and ran into a few unexpected problems along the way… including running out of fuel offshore.
By the time we reached the Bahamas, we were completely wrecked.
But what we didn’t tell you… is that all of this was happening while something pretty big was going on behind the scenes.
Hope you guys enjoy this one ❤️
