Caught in a Desert Sandstorm! Arizona to El Paso Adventure VLOG 279 4K
This leg of our RV journey turned into one wild ride...
We left Arizona and headed east toward El Paso, Texas — but things took a dangerous turn when we were caught in a massive desert dust storm sweeping across New Mexico and Texas. The storm caused chaos on the highways, with tragic accidents and near-zero visibility.
After making it through safely, we rolled into El Paso and were blown away (in a better way!) by the view of the Mexican border — something we’ve never experienced before.
We ended our night staying at a unique Harvest Host: a brewery along the famous Socorro Mission Trail, just a stone’s throw from Mexico. We were a bit unsure about the area at first, but the locals quickly changed that. They welcomed us with open arms, good beer, and some great stories.
