You Can't Learn to Build by Just Watching YouTube | Soulianis - Ep. 136
We’re tackling one of the biggest steps in our post-frame barn build: getting the roof trusses up. Between a telehandler rental ticking away at a thousand dollars a day, figuring out how to install purlins 20+ feet in the air, and learning that some ideas work a whole lot better on paper than they do in real life, there’s plenty to keep us humble.
We also get some unexpected help from a neighbor and welcome a new baby into the family right in the middle of all the construction chaos (because apparently we didn’t have enough going on! 🫠).
We’ve done a ridiculous amount of planning and research, but as one of the most eloquent speakers of our day has stated, “Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the mouth.”
