We, Mario and Nina saved up, bought a boat, quit our jobs and said goodbye to life behind a desk. In May 2017 we left the safe harbor and started our new life on our Bavaria 46 Seatramp. Our morning starts with sunshine. We decide to use the time to oil the teak deck as we plan to sail to Naples tonight.
The first storm comes over us after the deck is painted. Too bad about the good oil.
Later we decide to start our trip and set sails, we can watch the weather lightning all the time.
The wind becomes less, we start the engine and are caught by over 50 knots of wind. More than 4 hours we are in the pitch black night in the middle of a huge thunderstorm.
We made it, dropped our anchor somewhere on the italy coast and relaxed for a few hours.
