Sailing into GLACIER BAY | Ep. 13 | Icy Strait, Night Sailing, & Stealing Wi-Fi from Cruise Ships
In this one, we make a split second decision to squeeze a trip into Glacier Bay National Park before we need to get to Juneau. We set sail from Swanson Harbor and head into Icy Strait as the rain eases. The short Alaskan summer night comes as we enter the park around midnight and finally drop the anchor shortly before 2 am. The next day, a near gale picks up as we head deeper into the park in search of some more spring skiing.
