Baja Mexico Sailing At It’s Best, But Watch Out For Those 60 kt Elephanta Winds!

In our video series, it’s now mid-winter in Mexico, and oh, how sweet it is! Kat and I enjoy a nearby island off Puerto Escondido before she heads off the boat for almost a month. Now alone on the boat, Trevor tackles some wild Elephanta winds raging off the Sierra de la Giganta that included gusts to 67 knots!

Kevin (who sailed with us from Neah Bay to San Francisco) rejoins the boat, along with his friend Meca. With waves sloshing us around at Bahia Juncalito, we head for the protected waters on the east coast of Isla Carmen, catching a mahi-mahi along the way!

Thanks so much for tuning in!
