Installing a Scanstrut Atmos compressor on our Bali 4.6 — plus engine sound insulation and a dinghy console cover. Sailing Queen Lizzy — liveaboard life aboard our catamaran in the Mediterranean.
We're Anne-Lill and Dean, an Australian couple sailing our Bali 4.6 catamaran across the Mediterranean — slowly building toward the big one: an offshore passage through French Polynesia and maybe home to Sydney. Real liveaboard life, no filter, no fluff.
Three jobs in this one. We line the engine bays and the generator with sound insulation to bring the noise down inside the boat. We fit a Scanstrut Atmos compressor into the transom, which inflates the SUPs, the fenders and the water toys without anyone kneeling on a hot deck with a foot pump. And we make a cover for the dinghy console so the sun stops eating it while we sail.
