Sailing Queen Lizzy, our Bali 4.6 - In this episode, we have the last episode of the season. We're in Port Leucate, southern France, and it's time to put Queen Lizzy to bed for winter.
With help from Frederic and his team at the marina, Dean tackles the mainsail in a very lively twenty-knot breeze — which is about as straightforward as it sounds. There's a fast-forward sequence that somehow still feels like it takes forever, a quietly emotional moment as we flake the sail, and then — haul-out. Queen Lizzy on the hardstand. The end of a season.
