Getting Queen Lizzy 2 back in the water after the haul-out — then wandering a multihull boat show pretending we're not shopping for a bigger boat. Sailing Queen Lizzy — liveaboard life aboard our Bali 4.6 catamaran in the Mediterranean.
We're Anne-Lill and Dean, an Australian couple sailing our Bali 4.6 catamaran across the Mediterranean — slowly building toward the big one: an offshore passage through French Polynesia and maybe home to Sydney. Real liveaboard life, no filter, no fluff.
This episode: Queen Lizzy 2 finally goes back in the water after the Port Leucate haul-out — in, out, and in again before it sticks. Then we head to the La Grande Motte multihull boat show, where we spend the day "just browsing" boats we absolutely do not need. We finish the day slipping out to anchor for the night off Port Camargue.
Next up: Marseille got redirected to a small island thanks to the weather, and St Tropez is proving difficult — but we're headed that way regardless.
We're Australian, we probably should have known better, and we are wandering the boat show anyway.
