Our cruising experience in Cuba, after leaving Havana, got progressively more desolate as we headed farther and farther away from a big city. We rarely saw other vessels out on the water, and were the only boat in both of the anchorages where we dropped the hook for a night of sleep in Cayo Ines de Soto and then Cayo Jutias. While finding our anchorage in Ines de Soto, we ran aground! We were able to get a lesson in lobster fishing by a group of fishermen in Cayo Ines de Soto. The next day we headed to Cayo Jutias where we had a bonfire ashore, again the only 2 people on that side of the island. Finally, we arrived in Cabo San Antonio, Los Morros, and said goodbye to Cuba!
