Episode 26 - Amazing Caves at Belixe and Huge Waves to play and nearly die in!

After dodging a big storm and skirting down the edge to avoid 40+ knots of wind, we make it to the anchorage at Belixe and anchor in a managable 30 knots. The waves in the bay were huge, great for surfers but not so good for me and the dog going for our nighlty mooch, the tender ride in was just a little exciting and we were lucky to make it back out, they were crashing around us and over my head as i dragged the tender out through the surf and tried to drag the dog in. Out we finally got to the safety of our waiting anchored Pickle. We soon move on and have a lovely little sail onto Portimao and ended with a fabulous sunset in a beautiful anchorage.We are loving making these episodes for you guys! we are learning sooo much having huge amounts of fun and showing you the madness on the way…. next episode is a longer one as we sail to Faro and enter at all the wrong time…. make it through and explore the stunning Island of Culatra.
