Huge Dive Boat Drags Into Our Anchorage In The Middle Of The Night!
Welcome to another nail-biting episode of Sailing Parlay Revival. Currently sailing in Stewart Island, the southernmost point of New Zealand, we experienced an unbelievable incident which had us on high alert. Our Shocking Encounter At The Anchorage! While dropping a fellow sailor back to their boat, we were welcomed with an unforeseen turn of events upon returning to our anchorage. A colossal dive boat, anchored approximately 100 meters ahead of us, began to dangerously drag towards the side of P, threatening to swing into our boat. It was chaos and panic as the huge vessel narrowly missed our ship. The Intense Chase To Stop The Dive Boat! Quick thinking prevailed as Taylor jumped onto the dive boat to see if anyone was asleep. Luckily, there were no signs of danger as everyone woke up to remedy the situation just in time. Our crew did all they could do while it was terrifying and nerve-wracking. It’s moments like these that show the unpredictability and constant adventure awaiting us in this extraordinary journey. The Close Call: Why This Can’t Be Ignored! This close call was not taken lightly, and our entire crew was shaken. If we had not been there to wake them up, the boat would’ve almost definitely collided with another vessel or ended up grounded on a reef. As seamen, you must do everything possible in such situations. The Power Of An Anchor Alarm! From this harrowing experience, we learned the importance of setting an anchor alarm. We recommend everyone to use one to prevent such dangerous situations from arising again in the future.
