This week, we leave the rolly anchorage of St. Kitts behind and sail into the glamorous world of the rich and famous in St. Barths! ⛵
We climb the hill for one of the Caribbean’s most unforgettable aviation experiences, watching airplanes fly right over our heads, before indulging in delicious French crêpes. Then we settle in for the night in one of the most idyllic anchorages we’ve found yet.
From St. Barths, we head to St. Martin, exploring the Dutch side before crossing over to the French side. Along the way, something special happens—we meet several people who watch our channel, and finally meet a family we’ve been talking with all the way back since our time in New Zealand! 🌎❤️
Between unexpected encounters, beautiful anchorages, good food, and plenty of laughs, these turn into some of our funniest days in the Caribbean.

We are a suburban blended family that has raised our 3 older children and now want to travel the world. After planning and saving for the past 6 years, we are now embracing our dream of sailing around the world on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran. Follow our journey as we Circumnavigate the Globe in 3-4 years on a budget of $4,800/month (food, communication, fuel, insurance, transportation, mooring/marina & fun). We left the USA in October 2023 and plan to visit 26 countries on 5 different continents all while worldschooling a budding teen in our off grid tiny house.
