On this episode of Sailing on a Whim, in the race to beat hurricane season, we travel on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway for the first time on our journey to prepare Whim for hurricane season. It’s a mad dash to pack up the boat, dodge storms, and complete our hurricane prep before we say a temporary goodbye to the most crucial member of our crew, Whim.
This crazy adventure started in early 2018 as we started researching learning how to sail, buy a boat, outfit her, and take off for a life on the open seas. There has been a huge learning curve trying to make all of this happen and we want to share with you everything that we have learned and have some fun along the way.
We are excited (and a little nervous!) to share this journey with you. We hope that you learn a little from our experiences and maybe inspire you to make changes to live the life you want!
