PARADISE CLEAN UP CHALLENGE | EP 66 | Sailing Merewether
March 15, 2021 by Sailing Merewether | Language: EN Play Time: 00:19:07 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

We finally reach the San Blas islands of Panama after a two days sail from Colombia, and all we can say is WOW! We didn’t think places like this still existed. Crystal clear blue water, palm trees, white sandy beaches… yea that’s pretty much it, there is nothing els around. No hotels, no malls, no restaurants. After being in the busy city of Cartagena for almost a month it was amazing to come here and just relax.
But when we got to the beach we saw the amount of plastic that had been piling up on shore… we had to do something. We dedicated one hour to try to collect as much garbage as we could. 14 big garbage later, I (Isabelle) got pretty passionate and starts a new challenge. Nominating our friends Missy and Kyle from SV Macushla aka @FourSheetsToTheWind, to do the same.
Collect as much garbage as you can in one hour. Get down and dirty and help out. Nominate your favorite YouTuber or YouTubers, the more the better.
We can do this much for our big blue planet!
Meeting the Kunas, the indigenous people in the San Blast we bought some tasty coconut bread before heading off to a near by island with our friends Magnus and Sandra for some good old snorkelling and play time. There is just no place like it!
