The situation we face this week, could be the most helpless we’ve ever felt throughout our three years on the ocean, Purchasing our salvage sailboat, an Amel Super Maramu 53, in Indonesia. There is a 300Nm motor we have to complete in order to make it to the boat yard where our repairs will start. But this week, just about everything goes wrong, and those three emergency words are uttered, “PAN PAN PAN”.
