Happy to say that our 53 foot sailing vessel did not sink on her first night in the water after 12 months on land haha. The leak that first started as we hit the water seems to have stopped for now and with any luck it will not come back. The boats jobs are far from finished. This week Kieran goes about installing the winches and winch pads onto the mast so that the halyards can be tensioned. After so long on the hard the water tank has built up some green dirt inside it and Kieran also goes about trying to remove as much as he can before the family moves onto the boat. A very exciting day to finally pick up our brand new dingy which will hopefully take us on many exciting missions to come.
