Look at our pretty neighbors and their Schooner. (Added a nostalgia around the marina this past week) We get down to tackling the condensation we have been having on the boat this past winter. Its no fun because our mattresses end up getting soaked from the water that’s dripping from the deck down onto them so we get down to insulating our decks and tick another item off our list which is our window shades. The boat is so much cooler now with the shades on when it’s a hot day so I know we’ll love it in the tropics!
What’s left on our list you may ask??
1. Water-maker Installation
2.Install the engine
3.Name goes on
4.Get a life raft & do all the safety equipment
5.Epoxy hull before anti fouling
6. Anti fouling goes on

Sailing Lady Africa
We are a couple from sunny South Africa who decided to buy an old 1991 36.5ft Dean Sailing Catamaran, do a complete rebuild on her and sail the world. We started our boat build in 2018 and completed here in 2020 where we left South Africa and completed an Atlantic Crossing to the Caribbean. Amidst all of this we applied to become US Residents. So follow our journey as we sail the Caribbean and set up a new life in a new country.
