Life Update from the High Seas!
It’s been a while since we’ve done a proper life update here on Sailing La Vagabonde. So much has happened since we untied the lines back in February, and we’re excited to share all of it with you.
A Fun-filled Sale Update
We had an amazing time sailing with a beautiful crew on our last big adventure. We were bombing along at speeds above wind’s promise, and everyone shared in the exhilaration of it all. It was truly a magical moment for us.
Speaking of wild ideas, Elayna has been showing Riley videos of MOD 70s recently, sparking discussions about their potential for future adventures. While we’re not planning anything quite so daring just yet, it’s fun to think ahead and consider what might be possible.
Therapy on the Water
We receive such positive feedback about our candid talks; these videos truly feel intimate and meaningful for us. While it’s been challenging to capture these updates while sailing, we’re grateful for your support.
In other news, we recently wrapped up a fasting retreat. Despite the negativity from some online, we stand by our decision to explore new health practices like fasting.
Adventures in Pirate Territory
The highlight of this update comes from a Red Zone we sailed through that felt like pirate territory! We faced challenges with our satellite link and worried about communication, but fortunately, we were able to reconnect and let everyone know we were safe.
This adventurous spirit led us to explore the Borneo River, where we encountered crocodiles and a range of fish. Sailing through uncharted waters never fails to remind us why we love this life.
Reflections on Health and Family
Recently, our friends asked how we balance work and parenthood while sailing around the world. Our response? It’s all about finding the right rhythm and learning to rest when needed.
The boys are growing up so fast, and we couldn’t be prouder of their adventurous spirits and inquisitive minds. As they explore new horizons on board with us, our hearts swell with love and gratitude for this life we share together.
