Sailboat Wrecks on Christmas, just the present you want in these crazy times. When a sailboat runs aground, all you can do is pray it isn’t yours. Come to find out, it was Hayden’s Pearson 303.

We had previously toured the boat, and helped Hayden sail it down. He was planning to sail south to Florida with us after his own refit. Christmas day storms decided that wouldn’t happen.

(We sought long and hard to find the video of the boat being salvaged. We did not know how to get a boat off the rocks and we cringe watching it every time.)

Now, we help him haul out and inspect his boat. Watch to see the damage, and see how it happened! This episode was definitely not how we thought we would be spending our last few weeks in New England before we begin our sailing journey.

Swan Song, the worst name ever for a boat, now sits at the house in Cape Cod, awaiting spring so its refit can begin and become a brand new sailboat!
