Ep 8 First Solo Trip and Docking Disaster
May 23, 2023 by Sailing Isara | Language: EN Play Time: 00:16:56 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

I fly up to Oregon and do my FIRST solo trip on my NEW BOAT! I’m so excited and I don’t even know how to turn on the chartplotter! I take the boat for a spin to get the mast off and standing rigging replaced- while monitoring things like temperature and engine condition of my Yanmar, all while appreciating the beauty of the Columbia River up in Oregon.
I find surprises under the mast and in the electrical system trying to debug this boat. And finally I have a near disaster while docking – a big learning lesson.
We’re getting closer and closer to getting this boat down to California! Subscribe to follow the adventure!
Thanks for watching!
