Em-Trak, stripper, bikini, beach, Key West, barnacles, dinghy, topless
Good news! Em-Trak decided to replace our B923 AIS unit for free. Went to Key West to party on the beach and on Duval Street. Places included Jimmy Buffett’s old hang out and the somewhat famous Sloppy Joes, the Red Garter Saloon where the strippers are but they also play some good music that we dance to. We also went to Smathers Beach which is two miles long.
Worked on our rear A/C getting rid of the barnacles which had accumulated in the coils. Had one of those Florida popup storms. Lots of rain and wind.
Took a fast dinghy ride at 80mph, haha. But seriously it does scoot pretty well with a 15HP Mercury outboard. Wanted to head to another key but got such a late start we tooted around in the Atlantic.

Sailing Intermission
Featuring the sailboat Isabella, a Super Mikado 56 made by the French shipyard CNSO. Sailing, partying, dancing, cooking, and sometimes pushing the limits. This sailboat had been neglected for some time when she was purchased. Lots of cleaning, sanding, refinishing, new lines, refrigerator, pumps, water heater parts, whole boat water filters, bow thruster, lighting, fuel filters, instruments, air conditioning, etc.... Some of the fun with refitting a sailboat is to be able to do economical but quality improvements. Elbow grease saves a lot of money, watching for sales, knowing when substitutions can be made that will last, and of course enjoying the final product. We sail, fish (haha), dance, fly the drone, sometimes wear bikinis, DIY, ride the motorcycle, listen to great music, and enjoy life. Older sailors don't have a clew when to quit; they just keep lubing their winches.
