In this episode we take cover from high winds in the Greek island bay of Marathos (aka Marathi) after a quick morning motor….but up ahead in the forecast there’s a belt of stronger Meltemi winds threatening to hit the island which could keep us boat-bound in gale-force winds and waves for up to 10 days. We need to leave….but any sail we take from here isn’t going to be pretty!
One of those situations no sailor (let alone one with a young family) likes to be in…..so what do we decide?!
