This week we take our first guest to the #1 tourist attraction in Bocas del Toro, Starfish Beach. This fun anchorage provides access to small open air restaurants and bars as well as locals selling their crafts under the shade of the palms. This is family fun, Bocas style. In addition, just a short ride away is the old Chiquita Canal, once used to haul produce down from the Changuinola river to the protected Drago entrance for loading onto cargo ships. Now it makes a fun refreshing run in a dinghy for intrepid cruisers. Finally, we make a booze-fueled paddle to the beach for a bit of silliness and dinner. Starfish Beach, we love this place!!
