Can We Survive the Yellow Bank Mine Field?

In this episode of Sailing Doodles, we set sail from Highbourne Cay in the Exumas and journey 60 miles across to the stunning Eleuthera island chain. But between us and paradise lies one of the most dangerous passages in the Bahamas—the Yellow Bank. This shallow stretch of sea is littered with thousands of coral heads, known as “bombies,” and navigating it safely requires sharp eyes and perfect timing.

To scout ahead, I launch the drone mid-sail and use it to guide us through the coral minefield from above! Come along for the ride as we fly, sail, and steer our way through one of the trickiest crossings in the Bahamas.
