Bad News About My New Boat… Again
We spent our last day aboard the Island Spirit 525e charter boat, making the most of a beautiful day on the water before sailing her back to the marina. We hit the beach, enjoyed one last cruise, and the girls soaked up the sun before heading home.
But after the fun was over, I had to share some disappointing news: my new Island Spirit 525e build has been delayed yet again. I don’t have a firm delivery timeline yet, but it’s looking like it could be a while before my boat is finally ready.
It’s frustrating, but that’s part of the adventure. We’ll keep sailing, keep filming, and keep making the best of it until the new boat is finally finished.

Crazy Crab Boat Docking Races & Getting My Old Yacht Back in the Water!
Things get pretty wild in Solomons, Maryland as I check out the local boat docking races, where crab boat captains race against the clock to slam their boats into the dock as fast as possible. After the races, it’s back to my old CT56, Nauti Dogs. She’s been sitting on the hard for over a year, and...
My Yacht Sat Abandoned for a Year… Can I Bring Her Back?
My old CT56 sailing yacht has been sitting on the hard for more than a year, and it’s finally time to see what kind of condition she’s in. In this video, I head back to the boat, inspect everything after a year of sitting, and start the long process of getting her cleaned up and seaworthy again. Th...
Goodbye Thailand… It’s Time to Sail My Old Boat Again!
My time in Thailand has finally come to an end, and this one was a little bittersweet. I spend my last day with Nikka at a beach club before saying goodbye before sunrise and beginning a very long journey home. First came a 12-hour trip by van, ferry, and another van to Bangkok, where I had to drop...
SPINNAKER SAILING DISASTER! We Rigged It Wrong…
It was supposed to be an easy final sail aboard our new yacht in Thailand… but things didn’t exactly go according to plan! On our last day aboard before leaving the boat for a few months, we sail from Koh Phangan to Koh Samui and decide it’s finally time to test our spinnaker. With only about 5 kn...
