SDA11 Our Harken 44ST Power Winch FAILED

Our Harken 44 self tailing winch power winch FAILED during our survey and sea trial.
The winch is corroded. The bearings are frozen and the base is full of water. One look at the transmission and there’s no question as to what finally gave out. With a new transmission, a cleaned up motor and a rebuilt winch we are ready to hoist away.
