We bought a woodland, and this is episode two.
Lately my dad has been struggling, and sometimes the only thing you can do is show up and try to make life a little easier in the ways you know how.
This day in the woods wasn’t about fixing everything or having the answers. It was about small practical jobs, creating a bit of order, and spending time together in a place that usually brings calm.
The woodland has always been somewhere we can work quietly, think clearly, and breathe. So I focused on steady progress, simple builds, and just being there.
This isn’t a how-to, and it isn’t a dramatic story. It’s real life, a bit of graft, family, and what it means to care for people as best you can.
We bought a woodland to build something slowly — not just structures, but a way of life.
